About Sterling College Online
Sterling College has established an online school, which they have named e.Sterling. e.Sterling was designed to provide superior education through programs that respond to the needs of the workforce, industry, and community. Sterling Online Degrees and Degree Levels Offered
e.Sterling offers education programs online in the areas of history, mathematics, and professional studies. These courses are designed through their STEP program, which stands for Sterling Teacher Education Program. Upon graduation, students are able to either obtain a teaching job or apply for secondary licensing in their area of study.
e.Sterling also offers Bachelors of Arts degrees in either Christian Ministries or Theology and Ministry.
Sterling College Online Accreditation
Sterling College is recognized by the Kansas State Board of Education. The college is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association. The STEP program is associated with several resource centers and organizations and will provide guidance to students for licensure programs in the Teacher Education Advisory Council (TEAC), Teacher Education Committee (TEC), Associated Colleges of Central Kansas (ACCK), and the Educational Services and Staff Development Association of Central Kansas (ESSDACK).
Sterling College is also a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), Kansas Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (KACTE) and the Kansas Association of Private Colleges of Teacher Education (KAPCOTE).
Sterling Financial Aid Cost and Assistance
Tuition at Sterling College is dependant on your enrollment. If you are enrolled between one to six credit hours, the cost of tuition is $365 plus fees. If you are enrolled between seven and eleven credit hours, the cost of tuition is $645 per credit hour. If you are enrolled as a full time student, between twelve and seventeen credits, it will cost $9,000 per semester, totally $19,000 a year.
Financial aid is available at this college through Federal Pell Grants, Kansas State Grants for residence, Institutional Scholarships, Federal loans, or personal loans.
