Regent University is ranked second in the nation for online schools by theOEDb Online Rankings 2009. They offer many degrees and programs that are perfect for any working adult who does not have the time to attend traditional classes, yet wants to earn their degree to further their career.


Regent University has many different programs to choose from and have Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Ph D’s available to students. In the form of Associates degrees they offer the following programs: Psychology, Production/Quality, Leadership, Marketing, International Business, Information Systems, History, Human Resources Management, General Studies, Criminal Justice, Business, and Accounting. Bachelor’s degrees offer numerous program options: Communication, Biblical and Theological Studies, Christian Ministry, English, Government, History, Religious Studies, Business, Criminal Justice, Information Systems Technology, Organizational Leadership and Management, and Psychology. There are many Master degree programs such as: Digital Media, Cinema Arts/TV, Journalism, Theater, Biblical Studies, Practical Theology, Education with various concentrations, Organizational Leadership, Strategic Foresight, Government, Counseling, and Human Services Counseling. Regent University also offers Ph D’s in: Counselor Education and Supervision, Organizational Leadership, Education, Renewal Studies, and Communication.


Regent University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It also have various other accreditations and certifications for its different schools.


Tuition for undergraduates is around $496 per credit hour. Professional development fees are $250 per credit hour. Financial aid is available through completion of the FASFA which will tell the school how much financial need students receive. There are various scholarships and grants, as well as tuition discount and loans for those who qualify.


The majority of student reviews concerning Regent University were satisfied with the class sizes and the quality of instruction. The complaints were geared towards the curriculum being changed while pursuing their degree. They were also geared towards the faculty being of little help and the degree of difficulty it took to get calls or emails returned. With this being said, the majority still felt that they received a quality education.
