I want to see an update on how this is working out for you. I'm not tech savvy but from what I hear and know Apple laptops are very good and that was what I'm planning on getting but this seems the same. Plus 400$ sound much better..Could you give me your opinion/comparison on both?

Hey David. This model has a keyboard that is 95% the size of a normal keyboard, unlike the 9 inch versions. It still takes a little getting used to, but after one 3 hour lecture I was adjusted. I love it.

My brother bought the 9 inch version, and I can tell you that the keyboard on the 9 inch netbooks is impossible to type on. If you need to type, you need the 10 inch version. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Interesting stuff...

I'm in the process of looking for a netbook myself, and those specs sound pretty impressive.

How's the keyboard? I've heard some reviews saying touch-typing is near impossible- something I have a major issue with. What do you think?

can't wait for the usage update...somehow these don't seem to be quite the thing for me.. I prefer lugging around my 4.5lbs with a 200gb hdd....
but now that you mention it....with 160 gb..and me quit playing games...hmm... I could go in for one of those..

What's the output resolution 1024*768? or the same 1024*600?
