How to Achieve More: Be Your Own Personal Assistant

Pam Beesly from “The Office”

I was thinking about how much I do now during this summer break, or rather how little I do, when I came upon the idea that I could acheive so much more if I had my own personal assistant.  Then reality struck… I have no money.  So, I came up with my next best solution: Fire me as my personal assistant, and hire a new me.  Confused?

I reviewed my own personal organization skills and my ability to manage my life, and decided that I was unfit for the job.  So I fired myself, or at least the present me.  Then I decided that with a little ole fashion research (in the ways of time management), some extra organization, and a dedication to a system, that I could become the best personal assistant that I could find.  So I am working towards becoming the perfect personal assistant to myself. I’ll explain…

In order to really achieve higher levels of productivity, everything you do or need to do should be organized using a system that is fast and makes recalling easy.  The old system I used had so many leaks that my life felt like the Titanic.  But with a little research and organization I am sure that my new assistant will work perfectly in organizing and rebuilding my life.  I will allow alotted time to my personal assistant (me) to do the clerical and management duties required, and then I will go about my day, with the organized list of things to do and plans for my day and such.

My new assistant is so wonderful I should give him a raise.  He’s more qualified for the job than my old assistant, has a better attitude towards his work, and good lord is he good looking!
