Graceland University, sponsored by the Community of Christ, was founded in 1895. This school has 2,300 students currently enrolled, with the main campus located in Lamoni, Iowa. Students who attend Graceland University show a high satisfaction rate with 66% of students returning after the first year. Upon graduation, 64% of students report being offered a full-time job in the major within six months. Over 33% of students are able to graduate within four years of attending college, and over 8% of the attending students are international students.
Several complaints from students have been filed online calling Graceland University a scam. There was a change in the grading policy in 1998,that apparently stated that students would be expelled if they received two or more grades of C or below. Several students report not being informed of this change in policy and had to have phone dispute trials to re-obtain their schooling.
