FHCHS offers certificates, associate of science, bachelor of science and master of science degrees in many health fields. The school has programs in nursing, diagnostic medical sonography, nuclear medicine technology, occupational therapy assisting, radiology, and pre- professional studies. The nursing program is completely online for the RN to BSN track and the only masters of science program offered is in nurse anesthesia. The bachelor of science programs in diagnostic medical sonography and radiology program is completely online as well.
A program manager and enrollment advisor is on hand to assist the online student with the application, registration and graduation processes. The classes are taught by specialized faculty and staff who are available through various methods to offer further assistance with courses. As with all online programs the classes can be accessed based on the student’s schedule. The online programs vary but can be completed between 18-24 months. Online The online program materials can be accessed through the internet as well as any quizzes or assignments. Books may have to be purchased to accompany the courses. Group assignments can be done via discussions, forums and chats. Any clinical portions can be completed locally with documentation which can be forwarded to the school for assessment.

It costs $290.00 per credit hour. There is a lso a matriculation fee of $290.00 per trimester and non-refundable $200.00 program deposit. Certain programs may require extre fees for exams. A FAFSA form would have to be completed to determine what aid options are available to a prospective student. Federal and state grants and student loans may be offered to assist with tution cost. As with most schools, there is some good points and some bad points. Most students felt the education quality and faculty was excellent and carried a wealth of knowledge. Also the school has a good reputation which may help in career placement. The students mentioned, however, that a position with the renowned Florida Hospital is not guaranteed. There was also displeasure about organization and micromanaging in the administration. The cost is considered relatively high as well. Some programs are very competitive and non accepted students may be placed on a waiting list.
