Sunset at Zen College Life

This week we will focus on living a prolific life. Being prolific is being intellectually productive. Most of us are taking our summer vacation now, but that is no reason to sit around and do nothing. We are the generation that can make a difference in every aspect of life, from ridding our planet of fossil fuels to curing diseases in third world countries. Our passion and compassion will pave the way to our generation’s success. Our actions will make a difference, and the sooner you realize this the sooner you will be able to start creating waves of success for yourself and those around you.

In Dale Carnegie’s How To Win Friends And Influence People, one of the most important qualities he mentioned in getting along with people is honest and sincere appreciation. Now whether or not you realize it, appreciation is one of the most motivating gifts one person can give another. How do you feel when you work really hard every day at work, and your work goes unnoticed? Or even better, how one small comment of thanks and appreciation can make your day so much better?
