Lifehacker.com is one of my favorite sites in the world. Not a day goes by that I don’t check it, just to see what crazy new things people come up with for getting things done, hacking life, or just about anything else (almost always free). I’ve used it for tips on anything from my iphone, digital art tutorials, or just about anything else that could ever be done with a computer (or other electronic).
Does this make me geeky? Probably. But nobody thinks its geeky when I control my itunes from my phone during a party. If a new product is coming out (for example iPhone 3G) you can bet they will have coverage of it, and they’ll give your their honest opinion of it. You get the real truth about stuff here, as well as alternate uses and such for products. Want to optimize your life from morning till night? You can bet they have at least 100 different ways to do it. Can’t figure out how to back up the music from your iPod to your computer. You know it’s there. Lost a document and need to get it back? Do a search, there’s plenty of ways…
Overall you’ll find many ways each day to make that expensive investment of a computer (or just about anything else you bought) earn its weight in gold. Every day I find at least 1 article that leaves me pleasantly surprised, and I’m sure you will too.
