“Opportunities multiply as they are seized” -Sun Tzu

So, you want to be a badass, huh?  I feel you.  I started out wanting it too.  Then I decided to do more than just want.  I decided to become a real live badass.  Wanna know how?

It’s simple.  I changed my idea of one little word: Opportunity.  Opportunity is a favorable time, occasion, or position.  One aspect of opportunity that many, if not most, people believe is that opportunity is something that comes around, peaks, or shows itself randomly or on occasion.  Most people seem to believe that opportunity exists outside of their level of control, and that when it is found, that people who are around and decide to seize the opportunity, those are the people that become successful.  While that is an option of moving towards becoming a badass, or having a higher level of success, it definitely isn’t the best choice.

So here it is.  Here’s the golden ticket you came looking for.  I’m about to teach you something that will undoubtedly change your life forever.

To achieve a level of success higher than any normal, average, hard working, human being, to become a real true badass you must create opportunity, rather than waiting for it to come to you.  Those who go out and make opportunity for themselves will find much more opportunity, and when seized, will achieve levels of success higher than any mere mortal.

So how do you create opportunity?  Take a small lesson from most CEOs of the big companies.  They don’t seem to have any more intellegence, or even equal intellegence, as the scientists and engineers working below them.  But there is a key difference in their ability to create opportunity for themselves.  Most of the super successful people that you will meet are networking professionals.  They know everyone from everywhere, and keep in contact with almost all of them, in order to always have a better chance to create opportunities with each other.   Have you noticed that successful people seem drawn to each other?  It’s like they roam in packs.  It is because of this quality of excellent networking skills that they have found each other and are able to help one another create success.

This is the quality we all need to obtain.  We must meet more people, be friendlier and more approachable, and when we talk to people talk about real things, things that matter.  These are the the characteristics that will surround us with more successful people, doing more successful things, and making more successful opportunities for ourselves than we have ever seen before.
