30038_lrg1 The Best Book Ive ever purchased

The Compact Classics is turning out to be the best book I’ve ever purchased. I am able to learn about all of the classics very quickly (it summarizes books of all sorts in 2 pages each), and decide which I want to read the full versions of. And the list extends far beyond the literary classics.

This magical book is filled with books on business, leadership, personal development, quotes and anecdotes, biographies, literary classics (of course), modern literature, health and fitness, word power, and expanding knowledge. Sitting in my backyard for about an hour I was able to learn the a compact biography on Euclid, Isaac Newton, as well as understand the symbolic meanings and truths of the story “The Scarlett Letter,” my heart was touched by Hemingway’s “A Farewell to Arms,” I got a basic understanding of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, and I learned a little bit on business and leadership. Not bad for 1 hour of reading, huh?

The best thing about the compact classics is you get a basic understanding of so many subjects, and are better equipped to purchase the classics that you now know you want to read. And even if you choose not to read certain books (in their unabridged versions), you at least know enough about each topic or story to hold your own in conversation. Can’t argue with those results, huh?

This book will teach you more than I ever could, so do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. I got mine on amazon for 7 cents plus shipping. 7 cents for such an enormous well of knowledge. It’s the best investment I’ve ever made.

Here’s a link to the book, in case I inspired you to spend your own hard earned 7 cents.
