In an effort to create a little positive e-karma, I’m going to list a couple of great sites and great articles I’ve read recently. I hope you can enjoy them as much as I do, and be sure to leave comments and feedback on their sites as well. Weekly Focus: Read to learn, live, and love life

Written by Ibrahim on May 27, 2008 – 10:55 am -

293125_3979 Weekly Focus: Read to learn, live, and love life

Change Your Life’s Direction with Kindness

Written by Ibrahim on May 20, 2008 – 1:07 pm -

Kind Rose at Zen College Life

One of the fastest ways to change the direction your life is headed (for the better) is by doing acts of kindness, without the intention of receiving reward. There is something about doing something with the sole intention of helping someone else that really gives us true perspective as to what life is all about. It gives us a high, a purely great feeling about ourselves and humanity.

Weekly Focus: Living a Prolific Life

Written by Ibrahim on May 19, 2008 – 9:21 am -

Sunset at Zen College Life

This week we will focus on living a prolific life. Being prolific is being intellectually productive. Most of us are taking our summer vacation now, but that is no reason to sit around and do nothing. We are the generation that can make a difference in every aspect of life, from ridding our planet of fossil fuels to curing diseases in third world countries. Our passion and compassion will pave the way to our generation’s success. Our actions will make a difference, and the sooner you realize this the sooner you will be able to start creating waves of success for yourself and those around you.

Summer Update: I’m still alive

Written by Ibrahim on May 13, 2008 – 12:16 pm -

Hey everybody.  I just wanted to let you know that I am still alive.  My computer has been on the fritz, and I am working to get everything squared away and working correctly again, But Bill Gates, in his infinite wisdom (VISTA), isn’t making it easy for me.  I hope to have everything working and myself writing again by this weeks end.  I’ll see you then!

30038_lrg1 The Best Book Ive ever purchased

The Compact Classics is turning out to be the best book I’ve ever purchased. I am able to learn about all of the classics very quickly (it summarizes books of all sorts in 2 pages each), and decide which I want to read the full versions of. And the list extends far beyond the literary classics.

Now whether or not you realize it, appreciation is one of the most motivating gifts one person can give another. How do you feel when you work really hard every day at work, and your work goes unnoticed? Or even better, how one small comment of thanks and appreciation can make your day so much better?
